Take a 2015 to These 3 Best Kentucky Golf Courses to Tee It High and Let It Fly – Lexington, KY

If you play golf, you know that a birdie is scoring one under par on a hole.  Since par is the amount of strokes it should take you to sink your ball, a birdie means you’re playing extremely well!  When I first drove the 2015 Hyundai Tucson, that’s the feeling I had at every stoplight. Not just that I was driving a good car, but that I was driving a great car that exceeded my expectations.  With the 2015 Masters coming up, it’s easy to tell I have golf on my mind! When I’m in Kentucky, there’s a few places I love to drive my Hyundai Tucson to for a quick 9 holes… or 18 if it’s a Sunday.  Here are my picks for best Kentucky golf courses:

Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa
According to the Marriot web site, “Renowned architect Rees Jones, son of the revered Robert Trent Jones, sculpted this very fast track from Kentucky’s rolling hills.” It has 18 holes totaling 6,784 yards and the Par for the course is 72.  It has a Putting green, and kids golf for free, so bring your family.  Admittedly, on this course I’ll spend most of my time practicing my putting because the spa at Griffin Gate has manicures/pedicures and massages.  Hey, I’m not going to be on my game if I don’t look and feel fantastic, right?!?

University Club of Kentucky
This club features “fabulous greens, plush fairways, sculpted bunkers, challenging water carries, multiple tee boxes and professionally maintained courses offer you nearly 14,000 yards of championship golf designed for both the enjoyment of the casual player and to test the skills of the scratch golfer.” It is a membership club, but join and you also get membership privileges at Golf Club of the Bluegrass, Peninsula Golf Resort, and The Brook. Since you’ll be taking your Tucson, scoring a membership is a good enough reason to keep your golf bag in the back year round.

Man O’ War Golf
This course is a learning center, for adults and children alike.  With some of the best-ranked instructors in the state, you’ll be swinging like a pro in no time!  And why not? You have one of the best compact sport utility vehicles around, so you should practice your swing so you’ll have one of the best games around.  As they say “The world’s best golfers rely on private lessons to keep their game finely-tuned, yet most average golfers hardly take any lessons at all.” Your 2015 Hyundai Tucson isn’t average, and you shouldn’t be either!
