It’s been a heck of a winter, hasn’t it? Here at Glenn Hyundai, we’re really looking forward to Daylight Savings time, and a bit warmer weather. (okay, a lot warmer weather). What this really means, however, is that it’s time for a little bit of Spring cleaning! Whether you drive a 2015 Hyundai Elantra, G2015 Hyundai Genesis, 2015 Hyundai Tucson, or 2015 Hyundai Sonata, we can guarantee your ride needs a bit of TLC. Never fear, we’ve gathered our list of the best car spring cleaning tips and tricks to get your Hyundai in tip top shape:
Get rid of all the trash
We know during the winter that your Hyundai becomes the default mobile trash bin. Junk mail, report cards, old work papers, newspapers…you name it. It’s too darn cold in the winter to take the time to clear it all out, but it’s going to be spring, so get to tossing!
After you get rid of all that paper and other random bits of food and crumbs, you need to give that Hyundai a thorough vacuuming! Starting at the time and working your way down to the nitty-gritty, getting all that detritus out will also help get rid of that musty, neglected smell that only Winter can bring.
Wash and scrub your floor mats
Rent a steam cleaner if you need to, or even power wash those suckers, because after the rain and snow, we guarantee they’re caked with dirt, mud, and road salt. Your poor Hyundai!
Clean all the windows
Your windows have months of rain, snow, sleet, dirt, bird droppings – you name it, all leaving nasty streaks and pooling in the crevices. After you give your Hyundai a good wash down, go over the windows again with a good glass cleaner, both inside and out.
Here at Glenn Hyundai we love out Hyundais and want to thank them for getting us through this long, cold winter in one piece. To show our thanks, we like to give them a pampering – a good wash and detailing inside and out. We swear, they run better when they’re clean!
